Blueberry Bloom

I promise you I’m sweet inside.
Does this fabric intimidate you?
Oh no, I am not oppressed.
This fabric comfortably hugs
My head.
But let me tell you,
This is surely more than fabric.
Once it fits around my head,
There comes a character ecstatic.

Blueberry bloom.
I like to think of it as that.
A shield for the berry
Just like a sunhat!
Yes, yes, I know.
The bloom is uninviting.
But the taste is more sapid,
A taste so striking.
