Injustice

As I stare out Thinking of people without Feeling left out The TV screen blares News shows the bombs and the flares I see children waking up, losing their mother I see my brother Left with no other Choice but to dig his children out of the rubble While we sit here in our bubble Oh, how unfair―yet they dare to call this a war While the whole world watches and stares And only a few care They dare to call this a war When the oppressor has so much more And the children of Gaza see blood and gore Innocent people losing their families Not being able to say goodbye With their last breath, they say with a sigh Ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Allah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan rasool Allah They are now returning to their lord the most high Inna ma’al ‘usri yusra Now they have found peace Verily with hardship there is ease
